Prostatitis treatment with antibiotis needs 4-6 Weeks

Prostatitis is an inflammation of the prostate gland. Men also have to take more rest and drink more water.
 
Chronic bacterial prostatitis needs 6 - 8 week course of antibiotics, for infection commonly hides in deep tissues of prostate gland, and specific structure of prostate gland make antibiotic hard to penetrate, so infection hard to be killed by antibiotic. This also means that sometimes an infection can persist or recur. An anti-inflammatory drug such as Voltarol (diclofenac) is used to reduce the inflammation in the prostate.
