The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) of the United States has recently issued a new regulation on sperm agglutination. Homeopathic manufacturers must clearly state on the label that "there is no scientific evidence to prove that the product is effective."
176 years ago, the founder of homeopathy, the 88-year-old German doctor, Samuel Hahnemann, died. Today, homeopathic medicine has been categorized as pseudoscience by WHO, but illegal businesses are still making profits in corners all over the world.
The odd thing is that Hahnemann, who invented this notorious cure, did not leave an accusation. Instead, Germany and many other places had their monuments. He was also a loyal supporter of him and John Rockefeller. What is going on?
"Homeopathy can be traced back to the late eighteenth century, based on the theory that the same agents are needed to treat similar diseases, that is, to treat a disease, a drug that can produce the same symptoms in healthy people," the Federal Trade Commission said in a document.
"Many homeopathic products are so diluted that they can't detect the original substance at all. Overall, homeopathic products are not based on modern scientific methods, nor are they accepted by modern medical experts. Nevertheless, homeopathy still has many admirers."
By 1902, there were 15000 occupational homeopathic doctors, 22 homeopathic forensic medical schools, and more than 1000 drugstores in the United States, and their business volume reached seven times that of traditional therapy. It can be said that homeopathy in the United States has completely defeated the traditional medicine that Hahneman opposed.
Its popularity is not surprising. First, it is mild and seems harmless to humans and animals compared with cruel bloodletting, vomiting, and arsenic consumption. Second, epidemics raged in various parts of the early 20th century, and homeopathic therapy has a certain effect on infectious diseases compared with traditional treatment, so it becomes very popular.
Fortunately, with the birth of the American Academy of Natural Sciences, AMA Ethics Committee, American Medical Association, and other institutions, the medical industry experienced several revolutions, a variety of quasi-medical doctrines were reviewed, including homeopathy, and by 1950 all homeopathic medical schools in the United States had disappeared.
The wheel of history keeps rolling. At the beginning of the 21st century, a series of meta-analysis further showed that homeopathy lacked a scientific basis. On August 14, 2009, Chen Fengfuzhen, director-general of the general assembly, made it clear that homeopathy is complete pseudoscience. In 2010, the United Kingdom announced that homeopathy was no longer supported by NHS; in 2015, the Australian National Health and Medical Research Council said, "there is no evidence to suggest that homeopathy is effective."
Therefore, it is impractical and incorrect to rely on homeopathy to treat such refractory and recurring diseases as prostatitis. What patients need to do is to go to regular hospitals in time for regular diagnosis and treatment, so as to avoid more serious consequences.
Although antibiotics are effective, for patients who have previously been treated with antibiotics and are already resistant to them, antibiotics become very ineffective and cause damage to the liver and kidneys. Chinese herbal medicine such as Diuretic and Anti-inflammatory Pill not only has no side effects but also does not cause drug resistance. For those who often use antibiotics but have no effect, traditional Chinese medicine is the best choice. It can effectively eliminate genitourinary system inflammation and improve the symptoms of urinary discomfort. May the patients recover soon!
