Mycoplasma Prostatitis Cured by 4 Courses of Diuretic and Anti-inflammatory Pill

Mycoplasma infection is a common sexually transmitted disease, and after infection, if not treated in time, it is easy to induce other complications. Mr. Wong's case is a typical example of prostatitis induced by Mycoplasma infection. Fortunately, after four courses of Diuretic and Anti-inflammatory Pill, his Mycoplasma prostatitis was cured completely.

At the beginning of this year, Mr. Wong came to our clinic holding up on his waist with his hand and he looked painful. After some conversation, we got to know that his symptoms of low back pain had been lasted for three years. In the second half of last year, there was pain in his glans, which lasted for three months.

In addition, his urethra also had a small amount of secretions, no odor; no obvious symptoms of frequent urination or acute hematuria. A large number of leukocytes and pus cells were found in urine and prostatic fluid. Bacterial culture was positive and Ureaplasma urealyticum UU was positive. B-ultrasonography showed that the prostate was enlarged, the intima echo was not uniform and the envelope was not smooth. The diagnosis was Mycoplasma prostatitis.

According to Mr. Wong's situation, Dr. Lee prescribed a course of Diuretic and Anti-inflammatory Pill, and told him that if it was effective then he should continue with the next dosage, besides, some matters-needing-attention during medication were also suggested.

When Mr. Wong had finished medication of more than half a month, he called to tell that his symptoms had been alleviated and the low back pain still existed, but it had been relieved a lot compared with the condition before. So he was willing to continue the medication, and then through the phone he ordered another two courses of Diuretic and Anti-inflammatory Pill.

During the medication period, Mr. Wang contacted us more and kept feedback on the progress of the improvement. Because Mr. Wong's illness had lasted for many years, the course of the treatment was slightly longer, about three courses. According to his feedback, there were no obvious symptoms of discomfort after three courses. In order to consolidate the curative effect, Dr.Lee suggested that he could continue the medicine for anotehr course. Then after the fourth dosage, Mr. Wong came to the hospital again for re-examination. The following are the test results.

The 1st picture was a test of secretion culture. After taking Diuretic and Anti-inflammatory Pill for 4 courses, Mr. Wong's secretion culture had been all negative, which proved that UU (Ureaplasma Urealyticum) had turned negative.

The 2nd picture was the result of B-mode ultrasonography after treatment. Ultrasound suggested that" no obvious stone or space-occupying lesion was found. No obvious abnormalities in kidney, ureter and prostate. No obvious abnormalities in bilateral testis and epididymis."

From the test results above, we can see that Mr. Wong's disease had been completely cured. For prostatitis in general, most patients can improve their symptoms after one course of Diuretic and Anti-inflammatory Pill without side effects or drug resistance.
