There are many factors can irritate your prostate. Improper lifestyle may be the biggest factor that can aggravate prostatitis symptoms and cause the relapse. Some bad living habits can severely affect the health of your prostate, including long-term sitting, excessive sexual intercourse, frequent masturbation, holding urine, drinking alcohol and coffee, smoking, eating too much spicy food like pepper, chili, pickles, salsa and so on. Here are some tips for improving prostatitis:

1. Drink a large amounts of water to help keep the system flushed.
2. Drink cranberry juice, which has properties that dislodge bacteria from the bladder wall so that loose invading bacteria are washed away.
3. Follow a daily regimen of vitamin and mineral supplements, which include vitamins A, C and E, beta-carotene selenium, and antioxidants, .
4. Avoid alcohol, caffeine and spicy foods such as hot peppers, chili, pickles and salsa, which can make the problems worse.
5. Use medicinal herbs with antibiotic and anti-inflammatory properties such as echinacea, goldenseal and garlic to help reduce inflammation and knock out infection. Or take herbal medicine that is made from natural herbs, such as Diuretic and Anti-inflammatory Pill .
6. Seek to avoid stress and anxiety that can make symptoms worse by performing stress management techniques such as relaxing, breathing deeply and eliminating stressful circumstances.
7. Eat plenty of high-fiber foods such as fruit, vegetables and whole grain breads.
