I was diagnosed with bacterial prostatitis last week. Does sexual intercourse with bacterial prostatitis transmit infection to wife?

It depends on the type of the bacteria. If it's caused by bacteria like E. coli, the infection won't be transmitted to your wife. However, if it's caused by STDs like gonorrhoea, mycoplasma and chlamydia, it will spread to your wife through sexual intercourse. You should have a proper medication in time. If it's caused by STD, your wife should get a test for STD and take a treatment simultaneously if she is infected.
