Doctor
Hello. My answer is given as follow:
As a matter of fact, since a large number of men with hemospermia have no symptoms,
most cases are from unknown causes . The known causes include:
(1) Prostatitis
It refers to the infections of the prostate gland. And prostatitis is a very common cause. Prostatitis may be acute, chronic, or nonbacterial.

(2) Seminal vesiculitis
The infections of the seminal vesicles results in seminal vesiculitis. The seminal vesicles are two structures which secrete some of the fluid found in semen.
(3) Urethritis
The infections of the urethra, which is known as urethritis. The urethra is the tube that carries urine and semen to the outside of the body.
(4) Certain abnormal sexual habits
The abnormal habits include prolonged abstinence from or lack of sex or unusually frequent sex.
(5) Bleeding or blood clotting problems
The bleeding problems include hemophilia A or hemophilia B. And the clotting problems can also occur in men who are taking too much of the blood-thinning drug warfarin.
(6) Tumors or cancer,
This is a rare cause of hemospermia. The cancer may be in the prostate, seminal vesicles, or urethra.

If men with hemospermia caused by seminal vesiculitis or prostatitis weren’t cured for a long time, the quality of semen and the fuction of speerms would be affected, which would probably lead to sexual dysfunction and infertility.
Therefore, hemophilia should be treated as early as possible.
