I am 58 years old. I had prostatitis on and off for seven years. I’m in the U.K. so treatment may be different to that in China. I was given trimethoprim for the first few episodes, but I became allergic to it (hives and swollen throat), so I migrated to ciprofloxacin. Currently, I have perineal pain (hard to sit).
