Herbal Tea for Chronic Bacterial Prostatitis

Herbal teas have been around for centuries. However, despite there is a word tea in their names, herbal teas are not real tea at all. And what we call real tea, including green tea, black tea, and oolong tea, is brewed from the leaves of the tea tree. Herbal tea is made of dried fruits, flowers, spices, or herbs. This means that herbal tea can provide a variety of flavors and tastes and is an attractive alternative to sugary drinks or water.

In addition to delicious herbal tea, some herbal tea also has the characteristics of promoting health. In fact, herbal tea has been used as a natural remedy for various diseases for hundreds of years. Interestingly, modern science has begun to find evidence supporting some traditional uses of herbal tea, as well as some new uses.

1. Echinacea tea

As we all know, Echinacea purpurea has the functions of immune stimulation, enhancement of immune cells, inhibition of virus replication, and anti-inflammatory. Echinacea can stimulate the activity of immune system cells.

When these cells are active, white blood cells more quickly surround the disease-causing invaders, causing the virus or bacteria to die, preventing them from multiplying or simply stopping their activity. Echinacea can also be used as a mild analgesic to relieve symptoms with no side effects.

2. Ginger tea

Ginger tea is a spicy and delicious drink that contains a lot of healthy, disease-resistant antioxidants. It also helps fight inflammation and stimulate the immune system.

3. Safflower tea

Safflower is rich in glycosides, polysaccharides, and organic acids, which can promote blood circulation, speed up human metabolism, regulate immune capacity, and significantly improve hypoxia tolerance. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that safflower has the effect of promoting blood circulation and promoting menstruation, reducing swelling and relieving pain.

4. Ligusticum Chuanxiong tea

Ligustrazine in Ligusticum chuanxiong can activate blood circulation and relieve pain. It can reduce the aggregation of red blood cells and platelets, reducing the adhesion of the cell membrane surface, inhibit thrombosis, reduce blood viscosity, and improve microcirculation. In addition, regular drinking of Ligusticum chuanxiong tea can also improve the state of ischemia and anoxia of organs by dilating blood vessels.
